  • Indians Return to Holt
A group of Biloxi High School Honor Society students made a return visit to Holt High School recently, and once again they came bearing gifts. The students had visited Holt back in the fall semester, when they presented the school with gift cards and school supplies to assist with tornado relief efforts.
On this occasion the group presented a check for $2,000 to Holt High School librarian Lisa Clark. The money came from proceeds from a walk-a-thon that Biloxi High sponsors each spring. Mrs. Clark said the money would be used to purchase books and improve technology resources in the library. She added that the gift is appreciated beyond words, and it comes at a crucial time with funding being so tight.
While they were here the students had a chance to visit with some of the Holt students they had met on their previous visit. They said that they enjoyed their visits to Tuscaloosa and they planned on returning in the future.
